Bow Valley Resident Tuition Fees
Our goal is to ensure that the BHA experience is always able to function without compromise providing your child with the greatest educational and life experience possible. The cost for a full year term (September 1 to June 30) for a Bow Valley resident student is $ 12,000.00 CDN funds.
The BHA’s primary method of meeting its operating expenses is through the collection of tuition fees. The tuition fees collected pay for all aspects of your child’s experience in Banff with the exception of academic programming, personal equipment costs, travel costs to and from home at holiday and break periods, and the incidental spending of your child. Meals are not included with a Bow Valley student’s tuition. However, a meal plan is available.
Academically, study halls and tutorial support are included with a Bow Valley student’s tuition.
Athletically, the tuition covers all ice time, coaching fees, trainer fees, gym use and travel expenses of each team. Individual registration and insurance fees to Hockey Canada and Hockey Alberta are also a part of the costs covered by student tuition fees. Athletic clothing is also a part of the tuition fees.
(All fees are in Canadian Funds)
Customized payment options are available upon application and subject to administrative fees.
Students wishing to withdraw from the Banff Hockey Academy must submit a letter to the Registrar stating the effective date of withdrawal. Withdrawals will be effective the date the letter is officially received, or a later date, if specified by the student in writing. Withdrawals may not be retroactive. Tuition refunds for withdrawals follow the schedule below.
Please note that withdrawals due to students advancing on to a Junior A program during the school year will still be charged the withdrawal fees.
